Last month, we introduced you to New Yorker AM!R and his single 'Design'. The Prince-flavoured cut earned our praises and left a strong impression on us. As preparations for his forthcoming EP continue, the rising multi-talented musician returns with another track from said project.

'Parachute' is another slice of his self-styled "future punk soul" but with a more melodic edge to its predecessor, thanks in part to additional production duties from fellow New Yorker 1-900 (one half of musical duo ASTR).

"I was in an incredible relationship that slowly and brutally crumbled She was my best friend and we were in some heavy love together, AM!R confessed in a press release. "So towards the end, it was hard for me to wrap my head around where we went wrong, what should have happened, who was to blame. 'Parachute' is me saying, you had me falling forever, and I can't believe it's over."

'Parachute' is available now from all good digital vendors.
