Last week we were gushing over the rumours regarding a possible new Outkast album (fuelled by former manager of the duo, Queen Latifah, during an interview on The Howard Stern Show), but today our focus has been shifted elsewhere.

According to Mr. DJ, the group's longtime producer, André 3000 and Big Boi have been working on their respective solo projects, as Big Boi is apparently armed with a "fair amount" of new material that could become his third solo album, and likewise for Andre.

"I get the feeling that the energy and camaraderie from the tour will bring everything full circle," he told Reed Jackson from Revolt. "We may make it back in for an album following that."

Exciting times.
