André 3000 sure is a busy boy. If he's not touring with Big Boi on Outkast's anniversary tour, or promoting the Jimi Hendrix biopic All Is By My Side, he's deflecting rumours of new material. How does he do it?

Mr. Benjamin took time out of his busy schedule to chat with Ellen DeGeneres about his upcoming movie in which he stars as the legendary axeman. All Is By My Side is directed by Academy Award-winning writer-director John Ridley. The film follows a year in Hendrix's life from 1966-67 as an unknown backing guitarist playing in New York's Cheetah Club. The film has caused controversy by depicting Hendrix as a violent man in an apparently largely fictitious movie. All Is By My Side was also denied permission to use songs written by Hendrix which may be why Ellen chooses to talk about Andre's fashion decisions on stage with Outkast rather than his acting choices.
