I wonder what this new Angel Haze song actually has to do with its namesake; being titled as it has, 'Moonrise Kingdom' must be at least in some way inspired by the Wes Anderson film. And with the rattling fugitive beat, urgent chords, plunging moody moments of take-a-breather dynamics, Haze shows us her vocal chords instead of her bile, singing of a love story between two people that has met with some disapproval, further aligning itself with the very plot of Anderson's film, especially with lines like, "Moonrise Kingdom only made for two / in these trees there's no escaping truth."

It's taken from her album Back To The Woods, out on 14th September.
