As Anna Meredith preps the release of her debut album Varmits, which is due for release this Friday March 4 via Moshi Moshi, the UK artist has delivered her visuals for 'Taken,' the second single from the forthcoming LP. Taking inspiration from David Hockney's Joiners collages and Sol Lewitt's photo collections, the video's director, Ewan Jones Morris says the video is "about how life repeats but is never exactly the same. The track felt domestic to me, so I wanted to examine everyday things in a repetitive frame work."

Meredith also commented on the visuals. "I've been a long term fan of Ewan's work and knew he'd come up with something really special for this track. I love the many angles on the same thing approach throughout the track - really chimes in with how a lot of my music works."
