Musos, this week I have a little treat for you. We all know Songkick, right? What you may not know is that they recently released version 3.0 of their app. Their mission has always been to make it as easy to go see live music as it is to see a movie, and now it seems like they are getting closer to that goal. Not only does the new Songkick app allow you to buy tickets on the phone, but it also features integration with Spotify!

If mobile is the future, Songkick are trying to make the user experience even smoother by integrating ticketing into the app. This feature is only available in the UK right now, working with an extensive list of ticketing and promoter partners, but they're planning on launching it worldwide.

If you are a Spotify lover, or an affectionate premium user (I mean, it only costs like a round of G&T in Soho after all), you'll like this one for sure; the app will now scan your Spotify playlists as well as your iTunes library, and notify you when those artists announce shows in your area. Yes, even those Hanson songs you had hidden in your secret '90s playlist'.

Last but not least, the app features a much sexier design, which again, is a top aspect for me when it comes to shiny new apps. I just started digging into it, and so should you.

You can download the app for iOS here, and Android here.
