Apple Music launched just last summer in June 2015, and just six months later, the streaming service has surpassed ten million subscribers. The quick and drastic leap to ten million users assures Apple Music’s status as the second biggest pay-to-access streaming service in the world. Behind Spotify, Apple secured half as many users as Spotify (with 20 million) managed in six years.

And this information comes on the same day that the Nielson Music report stated that the future of streaming wasn't so certain. Not if Apple Music has anything to say about it.
