Another month, another mix, and fortunately for us April has been a very kind four weeks for fantastic new music. Purity Ring's latest offering 'Obedear' opens proceedings, and it's a track that can only excite fans further for the imminent full length due out on 4AD.

Slime's 'Lean Over' is a superb return to the limelight, and after performing a special gig in a 113-year-old library in Manchester, Jewellers continue to please with their new track 'Sing Trees'. A Liverpool double bill of Death At Sea and Jethro Fox mark the midway point in our mix, both of which are definite 'ones to watch' in 2012. Moving into the latter end of this month's mix, new tracks from Oberhofer, Peace, Swim Deep, and Outfit provide a thoroughly enjoyable listening experience, before concluding with Manchester newcomers, PINS. Established as an all female four piece, PINS recently sold out a limited run of cassettes and are set to go on a mammoth set of tour dates over the next two months. Put plainly, they're awesome.
