Arkansas-born Kari Faux releases her long-awaited debut albumm Lost en Los Angeles, which references her move to the west coast, where she began to work on her craft with her mentor Childish Gambino.

The 11-track album offers nostalgic, throwback influences from the '70s and '80s, as well as a taste of future soul/R&B combined with the signature hazy, west coast flow. "I had never been a part of something like that, and it was just kind of strange to me," Faux said to Noisey. "Like everybody's networking and schmoozing with each other, and I was just like "oh, OK, I guess. I'm here."
