After receiving numerous accolades for its 2013 festival, including Best Small Festival and Best Indoor Festival nominations from the 2013 European Festival Awards, and earning a commended rating from the Green Festival Awards, Athens' Plisskën Festival revealed its 2014 lineup.

The June 6th and 7th event will feature a mounting array of different genres, of which include notable acts like Mount Kimbie, The Black Lips, Fuck Buttons, Damien Jurado, Dirty Beaches, No Age, Saint Pepsi, and more. But more so than its gamut of music diversity, Plisskën boasts a forward-thinking policy that celebrates both modern intervention and the glorious history of Athens, Greece.

The festival has proven itself as a steady stepping-stone for people looking into event planning, supplying a generous amount of workshops to help assist in the festival building experience, known as The Lab. This portion of the festival happens before the weekend June 6th and 7th, however.
