It was only a matter of time before someone named a track 'Kanye West', and what better person to do it than Minneapolis' own Atmosphere. The song is taken from his forthcoming eight studio album Southsiders, which is due out on Rhymesayers on 5 May. In a press release, Slug said "It’s a natural progression from the last record, The Family Sign, which was about growing my family,” adding "I’m starting to think, ‘What is post–family man? What am I supposed to rap about now?’ I’m sticking to my roots, rapping about what I’m doing, what I think about.
