Vancouver-based musicians Andrew Mulat and Aidan Sullivan Sandy quietly released their debut EP Evergreen under the moniker August Kuper, and it is quickly shaping up to be one of the more interesting releases of 2016.

Utilizing a fascinating blend of post-punk atmospherics, eccentric electronic flourishes, straightforward pop melody and even some rapping, August Kuper has put together a curious little collection. "I've been thinking about what you've said, just get out my head," goes the chorus to album closer 'HEADACHE.'

The EP is a tightly produced, well constructed ever that seems to showcase the abilities of the musical minds behind the project. August Kuper certainly seems poised to provoke some interesting thoughts and consideration from listeners with its mish-mash style and off-the-wall ideas.
