It's an exciting time for UK music and - at long last - the hip-hop scene is finally growing its own legs and beginning to fill with some truly exciting new talents. North London based rapper Avelino has been enjoying an eventful year thus far after laying some necessary foundations with the release of his Iconic Ambition mixtape at the tail end of 2014. He supported fellow new generationer Stormzy on his UK tour at the top of the year (before quickly selling out his own headline show in east London shortly after) and has leant his words and voice to the likes of Etta Bond, Jacob Banks and rising songstress Raye, allowing him to take a more musically alternative route in comparison to some of his peers.

In recent weeks, he has been teasing a new project and even released this track for a few hours on Sunday night via his Soundcloud page for fans to listen to before quickly taking it offline. Now available in all its streaming glory, 'M.O.E' (Money Over Everything) sees Avelino put his "ignorant rap face" on. The track samples Wretch 32's legendary F64 session for SBTV while Wretch himself, who has been a long time vocal supporter of the young star also helps out on the track. Speaking to Complex, he said "'M.O.E' is a song that, hopefully, you can turn up to but lyrically, it's me admitting that I'm aware of our ignorance but it's just the way it is." Release details have not yet been announced but an EP is said to be in the works for a release later this year.
