An Australian gig-goer is suing Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose for knocking out his two front teeth during a recent show down under.

Darren Wright's injuries weren't inflicted by a moment of sheer rock and roll mayhem such as a stage dive gone awry but by Rose hurling his radio microphone into the crowd in Perth. Talking to newspaper, The West Australian Wright said, "With the bright lights and explosions, I couldn't see anything," Wright said. "The next thing I knew, I was whacked in the mouth. I thought I had been punched. I was quite stunned and it took a few seconds to realize what was going on. I could feel bits of teeth in my mouth. Then someone is climbing through my legs to grab the microphone."

While the long time fan of Rose has no hard feelings, he would like someone to pay for the damage to his teeth and as such has filed the law suit for around five thousand Australian Dollars, about £3,500, after turning down the somewhat ironic gesture offered from the singers camp, a signed microphone.
