Legendary Blues musician B.B. King has died aged 89. Attorney Brent Bryson told The Associated Press that King died peacefully in his sleep at 9:40 p.m. PDT Thursday at his home in Las Vegas. A kind way to go given recent claims by his daughter that he was being abused by his longtime manager Laverne Toney.

With a career that span back to the 1940s, it's fair to say that King did it all (he was inducted into the Blues Foundation Hall of fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, won numerous awards, and sold millions of records.)

Our thoughts go out to his friends and family.
