Avante Black are definitely one to watch in 2017. Led by 22 year old singer-songwriter Ottilia Zimmerman Kjulsten, the London-based Swedish alt-pop group released two brilliant songs last year – nostalgic break-up anthem 'Imaginary love' and breakthrough track 'Drug Money'. On the latter, Kjulsten's angst-driven lyric "my soul is on fire, my money is gone" floats hauntingly over gleaming melancholic synths – it's alt-pop at its finest.
