Part way through a European tour, Communion three-piece Banfi have released a new video for their fairly festive single ‘Caroline’. It’s a mournful track brimming with emotion, dramatic instrumentals and imagery of a solemn Christmas scene evokes thoughts of Frightened Rabbit and Villagers.

Directed by the band’s close friend Jake Dypka, the video breathes, even more, life into the already poignant and haunting track showcased in ‘Caroline’. It is the confident sound of a band who have a growing reputation at creating powerful and personal storytelling - as Joe Banfi puts it, "The demo of the song only started to make sense and come together when I realised I was writing the lyrics for my parents and their loss, and other people out there who lose their parents at such a crucial age.”

Dypka had this to say about the video - "We had the idea of finding forgotten footage and bringing it back to life. We found this old documentary of a summers day down at Blackpool. It seemed to fit perfectly with underlying themes of family, love and time."

The London three-piece will embark on their second European and UK headline tour in March with a headline show at London’s Oslo on 22nd March.
