Banu's 'Pretty Lady, Me' is an exhale - its breathy vocals escape to swirl in a mist of melancholia, but it's not a sigh mining the depths of hollowness for false drama. Everything in it is quietly pretty and deliberate, the instrumentations seems to emanate from miles away, attracted from the hushed lead vocal and converging in a radiant meeting point. It's a weightless dream bringing vivid visions forgotten in an instant and illusions of eternity gone in a second; it's peaceful, but not quite restful.
