Zombies! EVERYWHERE! Don't worry it's not an impending apocalypse, but a new track from Bassnectar (aka Lorin Ashton), which will feature on the upcoming Resident Evil: Retribution soundtrack. From the song, entitled 'Hexes', we can only assume that there's some badass ending where lots of zombies die, and it hints at that there may or may not be a sequel. With guest vocals from Chino Moreno of Deftones fame, it's everything you'd expect from horror/action film soundtrack.

Mr Ashton himself said he wanted "to make a beat that dropped like a wall of bricks to knock people back in their seats at the movie's sudden and dramatic end." Unless there's a stinger, it's more likely to theme the conversation from most punters going "there's going to be a SIXTH?," as has been hinted by Anderson and Jovovich. The film is set to be released in the UK on 28th September, as a staggered worldwide release, so if you want to hear this track on large cinema speakers, then you know where to go to hear it.
