Beck fans were indulged with two performances from the singer-songwriter in Detroit on Saturday night (28th June) after his opening act were forced to pull out of the gig.

According to Billboard, the support band The Ghost of a Sabre Tooth Tiger had encountered problems crossing the border between America and Canada after the previous night's concert in Toronto. Beck stepped in to perform an acoustic set in their stead, playing songs from his recent album Morning Phase as well as his 2001 LP Sea Change.

The main set from Beck became a flurry of greatest hits in light of the impromptu performance.
