Mexican-born producer Kurt Reinartz is currently lining his path through the tough cracks of Berlin’s electronic music scene. Taking his surname as a moniker and being highly influenced by the likes of Alva Noto, Autechre, abstract techno and experimental electronics, CODE812, Reinartz’s debut EP, is out today on collaborative label Co-dependent. It combines, in less than fifteen minutes, elements of ambient music, experimental soundscape collages with introspective atmospheric layers, compressed with sharp components of glitch experimentation. It’s usually said that the devil is in the details, in this case, them being an essential factor for a fulfilling audio experience.
