At Sunday's BET Awards at the Nokia Theatre in LA, Beyoncé took home the most awards of the night, winning Best Female R'n'B/Pop Artist, Best Collaboration and the Fandemonium Award. The pop diva also performed 'Partition' with Jay Z in a pre-recorded piece taken from her 'On the Run Tour.' The surprise performance featured a new verse from Jay Z at the beginning of the track.

Pharrell Williams continued to round off an epic year by winning both Video of the Year and Best Male R'n'B/ Pop Artist. August Alsina performed alongside Trey Songz and Chris Brown and also went home with two awards, Best New Artist and Viewers' Choice. Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj won Best Female Hip-Hop Artist for the fifth year in a row and shared an award with her Young Money companions for Best Group.

Other winners included Drake (Best Male Hip-Hop Artist) and Jhené Aiko (the Centric Award).

The event also featured a performance from T.I., who unleashed his new single 'New Mediocre' with Iggy Azalea. The Australian rapper then gave a rendition of her hit 'Fancy.'
