Beyoncé is suing a company from her own state. The Texas company called Feyonce Inc. has been merchandise that uses the name "FEYONCÉ" and even lyrics from her music and the Queen Bey has had enough. Her filed complaint has accused the company of selling products (like shirts, and hoodies) on their shop site that resemble her artist name, as she states that these bootlegs can damage her brand. Since the defendants neglected her cease and desist request, Bey is nailing the frauds.

The lawsuit states that: "Defendants adopted the Feyonce mark to call to mind Beyonce and her famous song. Defendants' conduct described herein is intentional, fraudulent, malicious, willful and wanton. Seeking to capitalize on the notoriety of 'Single Ladies,' with its famous lines 'put a ring on it,' Defendants are selling merchandise bearing the 'FEYONCÉ' mark -- a misspelling of 'fiancé' intended to call to mind Beyoncé and her famous song. Some of Defendants’ merchandise even bear the lyrics 'put a ring on it' further solidifying the connection between Beyoncé and the unauthorized products."
