In addition to being a massive fan of wrestling, it seems Billy Corgan also seriously loves animals. Earlier this month the Smashing Pumpkins frontman participated in the PAWS Chicago Fur Ball to help out his beloved furry pals. He worked with Curtis Duffy to hold an auction for a "Night of Folly," which included a private concert and dinner for 12 - it ended up selling for $60,000! A pretty fair chunk of money, really.

PAWS Chicago is a fantastic organization that is the city's largest No Kill humane organization. They advocate for dog and cat adoptions and hold various events around the city to promote this. They held a Cat Video Film Festival in Chicago earlier this fall that, while being an incredibly fun time, spread awareness to end the killing of homeless pets. "PAWS Chicago is working to build a No Kill Chicago -- a city where pets are no longer destroyed just because they are homeless." Corgan has two PAWS cats of his own and raised $90,000 for the organization last year during the Fur Ball as well.
