So yeah, head of Cash Money, Birdman, is still withholding Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V. Wayne is expecting $8 million he says he is owed as an advance on the album and he wants to sever his contract with the label.

Saying he feels like a "prisoner", he's adamant that Birdman owes him money and is purposely not releasing the album. Ouch. But Birdman isn't backing down, saying it's gonna be out in "due time" – it's all happened before though: Sorry 4 the Wait was an attempt to apologise for the delay of Tha Carter IV, suggesting that perhaps Birdman is a bit of an old-hand at purposely delaying the release of Wayne's material. Hence Sorry 4 the Wait 2 this time around.

Anyway, TMZ has reported that settlement talks have broken down. And of course, it seems Lil Wayne is gonna continue releasing music, but obviously nowhere near Cash Money. As such, here's a collaboration he did with Migos called 'Amazing Amy', produced with finesse by upcoming producer, London on da Track.
