On 17 June, Brian Chippendale aka Black Pus will be releasing a split EP with Chicago thrash group Oozing Wound on Thrill Jockey. The five track EP will be a strictly limited vinyl only release pressed on virgin vinyl and comes with a download card as well as cover art designed by Chippendale and Sam Nigrosh of Oozing Wound. We've got the exclusive premiere of Black Pus' track 'Blood Will Run', which you can stream below.

The song deals with the senseless passing of Jordan Davis after he was shot by Michael Dunn in Florida, following a dispute over loud music coming from the SUV that Davis was in. It's the first track from them to feature clean vocals, free of the distortion that fans may be used to, and I'd say that Chippendale pulls it off pretty damn well. It's not perfect, but you shouldn't expect it to be, and that's what gives it a sense of charm. Per usual, it's got plenty of noise backed by his pounding drums. If you like what you hear, Black Pus will be touring all throughout Europe in June/July, and all of those dates are listed before the song!
