Black Sabbath, Soundgarden, Faith No More, Motörhead and more are coming together this July for a dark celebration of British Summer Time at one of its titular Hyde Park festivals. Black Sabbath's headlining performance will be the Birmingham-heavy-metal-pioneers' first UK show since their hugely successful arena tour at the end of last year.

Soulfly and Wolfmother complete the festival's mainstage line-up, while 13 other acts -- including the likes of Gallows and Bo Ningen -- are set to perform on the festivals smaller stages.

The first weekend of July looks to be a busy one for classic rock and metal, as British Summer Time is boldly scheduled to take place on the opening day of this year's Sonisphere Festival (headlined by Iron Maiden, Metallica, and The Prodigy), but the promise of Black Sabbath should have no trouble in luring at least a few people away from Knebworth Park.

Tickets are available from April 4th.
