Blitzen Trapper recently sat down with Rolling Stone to discuss the creative aspects behind their latest record VII. Frontman Eric Earley said they "definitely wanted to do something that had good, danceable beats. Something that was good to drive to," and I'd say they accomplished that goal.

The band shared a new track called 'Coming Home' with them that's a prime example of that aim. It's a "swampy funk" song that would be a perfect soundtrack for those late night drives. Earley explained that "It recalls the swampy truck stop sounds of Jim Ford or Mac Davis, telling ourselves that home is just around the bend." Give it a listen below.
