Mere days after Mykki Blanco's experience with racism and homophobia after being arrested in Portugal, Dev Hynes has now seen trouble with the German authorities on account of his race. In a series of tweets, Hynes stated that he was subject to searches at Berlin Airport and not allowed to leave because he didn't have receipts for some of his items, some of which he had bought over a year ago.

Despite Hynes being a UK native with a valid passport and US visa, German authorities still stopped and held him. He tweeted, "Everywhere I've ever been I am reminded that there are people out there holding a prejudice because of my skin colour, yes it was racial."

Head over to his Twitter account for his thoughts on the incident.
