Uxbridge four piece Bloxx return with biting new single ‘Second Opinion’, and it is another slice of infectious slacker-pop. The band played at the Great Escape last month to a packed out room of fans and industry folk, the band impressed with a tight set of heavy riffs and charged lyrics. They have been gaining momentum since their debut track ‘Your Boyfriend’ set alight the blogosphere and with each release have honed their tone of voice.

After meeting whilst working in Wetherspoons, Bloxx have managed to make their drawling, deadbeat tones reflect the band’s inception. Ophelia’s writing style is also completely confessional, detailing her personal experiences whilst encapsulating the turmoils of traversing young relationships. The refreshing honesty within the band’s lyricism has won them fans in Annie Mac, John Kennedy and has seen them tour alongside Pale Waves and The Wombats.

Now gearing up to spread their sound further, the Uxbridge outfit have announced their largest UK tour to date, including stops at Latitude, Reading & Leeds and a headline date at London’s Borderline. Tickets are available here.
