Long time collaborator of Bob Dylan, Dave Hidalgo has told the Aspen Times he and the one time saviour of the Isle of Wight are in the studio again. The Los Lobos man and Dylan have been working together in Jackson Brownes LA studio, saying "It was a great experience. And different. Each one has been different, all completely different approaches. It’s an amazing thing, how he keeps creativity. I don’t see how he does it."

Should these recordings sessions transpire to become a new album, it would be Dylan’s 35th studio album and arrive in the anniversary year of his self titled debut released 50 years ago.
