Boots can do no wrong, it seems. The former Blonds frontman and Beyonce collaborator released his debut mixtape WinterSpringSummerFall earlier on this year, and now he's made a return with the beautiful 'Mercy'.

Relying on the minimalist beats he's known for, it showcases his smooth voice, but don't let that fool you - it's got a darkness to it as well, as he croons lines like 'get that evil off my screen' amongst other ominous things. The last 45 minutes provide such a stark contrast to the rest of the song that you may think you're listening to an entirely different track, but if you give it even one more listen it all comes together and makes all the sense in the world.
