Aaron Paul's acting is about to get epic – biblically epic, we mean. The Breaking Bad star has just joined the cast of Ridley Scott's upcoming movie Exodus, that will star Christian Bale as Moses.

Paul is reportedly set to play "the Hebrew slave Joshua who goes on to lead the people onto the promised land after Moses," Variety reports, while Sigourney Weaver and John Turturro have been rumoured to play the parents of pharaoh Ramses (to be portrayed by Joel Edgerton).

While Aaron Paul's next big screen appearance will be in the video game adaptation Need For Speed, joining the cast of Exodus will definitely mark the actor's career by the giant proportions of the upcoming production. The shoot is scheduled to begin in September. [via Empire]
