Hailing from California, the synthpop trio I, Us, & We made a considerable splash last year with their spacious sound, soulful vocal harmonies, and gorgeous melodies. With their new EP, Prism, dropping later this year, the group is releasing one more single to get everyone hyped, 'Easy.'

Featuring pulsing, atmospheric synths and propulsive drum programming, 'Easy' builds from a haunting slice of R&B electronica into a soaring pop anthem. It is no easy feat to balance so many genres, sounds, and ideas, and yet I, Us, & We do it with aplomb. Their sound is meticulously composed, intricately layered, and professionally deployed. You won't encounter many groups who can create songs that sound this tight.

The lyricism is nothing to shrug at either. At the core of 'Easy' is the message that one is in control of their own fate. According to the band, 'Easy' was written as a meditation on social constructs and how people manufacture the feeling that they are not in control when "in reality they are the ones in control and able to draw boundaries and make decisions to ultimately shape their own destiny."

You can stream 'Easy' from I, Us, & We up above and be sure to check out their new EP, Prism, which drops later this year via Little Assembly.

And, if you happen to be in Hollywood tonight, be sure to head to The Sayers Club to check out the trio's single release show for 'Easy.' The doors are at 8:30 p.m. and the show is at 9:30 p.m. It should be a blast.
