Following on from her pop-smash ‘Give ’N’ Take’, Call Me Loop has returned with the downtempo ‘Love The Lie’. Co-produced with Hight and Bantu who have worked previously with Lily Allen and Camila Cabelo, this new single is a bona fide summer-ready banger and continues to strengthen Loop’s claim as a real pop star in waiting.

Written about life at the end of a relationship, Call Me Loop explains “’Love The Lie’ is about that weird time of your life where you come out of a long term relationship and are suddenly confronted by single life again. It’s about choosing to get up and get out and embrace that new life, even if it feels scary and unfamiliar and too soon at first, until it becomes your new norm and you start to have a bloody good time.”

Now based in Brixton, the young artist has enjoyed crossover success following her monster Spotify single, finding support in Wonderland, Popjustice, MTV and Notion. She plays London’s Archspace this evening as well as a handful of festivals later in the summer.
