Ahead of the early 2014 follow up to Skying, Horrors frontman Faris Badwan will be returning to his Cat's Eyes side project and collaborating on a film score. The duo, which includes soprano, composer and multi-instrumentalist Rachel Zeffira, are teaming up with Broadcast's James Cargill and director Peter Strickland on the soundtrack for in-development project The Duke of Burgundy.

Cat's Eyes unique and compelling debut album was released back in 2011, since when both members have been busy on their own music, including Zeffira's solo record The Deserters last year.

Cargil (and Broadcast) worked with Strickland on his previous movie, Berberian Sound Studio, composing the acclaimed original score, which is available now on Warp records. The director has demonstrated himself to be an artist with a strong visual sense and this collaboration, full of sonic promise, is something we should be looking forward to.
