Not even two months after her most recent album was released, Cate Le Bon has announced that the follow-up to April's CYRK will arrive on August 20th via Ovni/Turnstile. CYRK II features 5 songs that didn't make it onto the full-length, but they're not mere leftovers; instead, the songs are described as follows: "Whilst CYRK bounds around erratically and unknowingly like a younger sibling, CYRK II is its older sister, bearing songs of a more starkly confessional nature. Although there is a longing and sadness that litters CYRK II, it never truly realises itself, often hiding in the forest of lyrics and interrupting instrumentation when on the cusp of revealing too much."

In support of the album's release, Le Bon will embark on a UK headline tour in September. Before that, though, there come a clutch of summer shows and festival dates, the full list of which reads thusly (ticket links included, because we're helpful like that):
