On September 1st, Cee Lo Green posted two heinous tweets in regards to the court battle he's been a part of for the last two years where he pleaded no contest to drugging a woman with ecstasy.

In 2012, the vocalist was accused of slipping drugs into the drink of a woman while the two were having dinner together in Los Angeles. The woman then said that she had been eating sushi with them, and then woke up naked in his bed without any explanation as to what had occurred, including taking any ecstasy. Cee Lo Green certainly didn't help his case when he tweeted some disgusting comments to his now-deleted Twitter account this weekend.

The tweets read, “if I TRIED but did NOT succeed but the person says I DID then what really happened?… when someone brakes on a home there is broken glass where is your plausible proof anyone was raped… if someone is passed out they’re not even WITH you consciously! so WITH implies consent… People who have really been raped REMEMBER!!!”

"With" does not imply consent. It never has, and it never will. Sex with someone who is unconscious is the textbook definition of rape. However, in Cee Lo's case, charges were not filed due to a lack of evidence. He later attempted to apologize, like the public would somehow just magically forgive his awful comments, saying (via Billboard):

“Let me 1st praise god for exoneration fairness & freedom! Secondly I sincerely apologize for my comments being taken so far out of context… I only intended on a healthy exchange to help heal those who love me from the pain I had already caused from this. Please forgive me as it was your support that got me thru this to begin with. I’d never condone the harm of any women. Thank you.”

Update: He's rejoined.
