Over the weekend, Chance The Rapper was at Chicago's SocialWorks summit where he revealed the twenty schools that will benefit from the New Chance Fund - an education and arts fund created by Chance that has raised over $2 million in donations over the past six months. The announcement comes a month after 30000 backpacks were given to students at Bud Billiken Parade by Chance's SocialWorks.

But that isn't all: Chance also announced that the first ever Twilight Awards will take place in June 2018. The event, hosted by James Corden, will honour "teachers, parents, principles, and students that convey leadership." All these initiatives are part of Chance's social programs whose main goal is to promote fundamental education and civic engagement in his hometown of Chicago.
