After lighting up our collective hearts with 2013's Acid Rap and last month's invigorating, challenging mixtape Surf, Chance The Rapper has firmly established himself as one of rap's most prominent young figures. Now, nearly a year after his last journey to the UK, the Chicago rapper has announced his return.

Chance has only scheduled two shows as of now in London and Manchester in late June and early July, so more dates may possibly be on the way. Even if one can't manage to make the events, Surf is well-worth the time in its own right. The 16-track mixtape is an incredible diverse and exploratory album, and features some of hip hop's biggest names, like; Busta Rhymes, J. Cole, Janelle Monáe and Erykah Badu. It goes without saying, it's a must-download.

The forthcoming live dates are as follows:

  • Monday 29 June - London - Electric Brixton
  • Wednesday 01 July- Manchester - The Ritz
