Toronto continues to provide a hotbed of talent, be it singers, rappers, producers or a combination of all the above. Charlotte Day Wilson is a master of three out of four of these talents (although there's definitely still time for her to branch into rapping), all of which are showcased in her debut single 'After All' - balancing delicacy with a strong narrative and angelic vocals that remind me a little of Jessie Ware.

Self-produced and written by Charlotte herself in her self-proclaimed "Woman Cave", this is her first track away from her other band The WAYO; a track, as she explained to Rookie is about "trying to gain perspective and about letting yourself succumb to your vices." Expect to hear much more from this Toronto talent throughout 2016.
