If you were in New York City in the winter of 2011 like Elskling was, you probably know how bad the blizzard got. If you weren't, long story short it shut down the entire city, but some good things came out of that: specifically, the first Elskling tracks, crafted by Norwegian Marte Solbakken who was trapped in her apartment with nothing else to do but create. '900 Hands' is the first release from the project and it's got elements of 60s analog recordings and contemporary pop in there with some sweet, sweet harmonies as well.
