One of Australia's finest recent exports, indie-pop buzz band The Griswolds, have just released the first cut from their highly anticipated debut album. It's the follow-up to their breakout 2013 EP Heart of a Lion, and you can take a listen to the new track 'Beware the Dog' below. They've been playing the track live for a while now, and it's fantastic to hear that it holds up recorded just as well as it did in person. It's got all the pep of Walk the Moon with a bit of a tribal flavour and it's going to make you dance. Aforementioned debut album was recorded with Tony Hoffer who's worked with the likes of M83, Phoenix, and Beck, so there are definitely huge things in the future for them.

Vocalist Chris Whitehall explained the meaning of the song a bit further, saying "this is the first song Dan and I ever wrote together. It’s about losing someone we were really close with to heavy drug use. ‘Beware the Dog’ is about that journey – the good and the bad times."

If you get the "but now you're fuckin' crazyyy, crazy, crazy, crazy" line stuck in your head after your first listen - join the club. Just accept the fact that it'll be there forever, and you'll be fine. Purchase the song on iTunes here - it's the best dollar (give or take a few cents) you'll spend all day.
