Fresh off her prestigious guest spots on Prince's 'Baltimore' and Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment's furiously good album Surf, Chicago singer Eryn Allen Kane introduced another bit of her charming solo work with 'Slipping'.

The nervously catchy straight-forward pop gem comes months after her high-arching vocal performance of 'Mercy'. This time, however, Kane has slightly tuned down her theatrics with the soulful effort, which she wishes to leave to the listener to interpret. She says, "I'd like for people to choose what it means to them. It's important that I give that freedom to the listener."

Listen to 'Slipping' below and look out for Kane's debut solo EP Aviary later this year.
