Trementina has had a tough go of it lately. The Chilean shoegazers were denied entrance to SXSW by U.S. immigration authorities. But the group is beginning a quick turn-around starting today with the release of their debut LP, 810, and the video for their fantastic single 'Oh Child,' which is premiering here on The 405.

Coupling anthemic pop chops with reverb-laden instrumentals, 'Oh Child' is a stirring, poignant single. Lead singer Vanessa Cea has the capability of conjuring stirring imagery around the fantastic, dreamy guitar parts of Cristobal Ortiz. Meanwhile, bassist Lucas Martinic and drummer Andrés firm a thunderous rhythm section, carrying the emotional weight of the track on their shoulders.

"This a song for people that doesn't want to fit in the adult shoes that they force you to wear," says the band. "The world shouldn't be a disappointing place for dreamer eyes."
