Christina Castle might just be your new favorite pop star.

At just 22 years of age, Castle sounds wise beyond her years on her new EP, Chapter 1. Full of poignant reflection and intelligent storytelling, not to mention the sensational melodies and singing, the collection is a powerful statement for this ambitious pop star. Of particular note is 'American Hustle,' Castle's arena-ready dissection of the trappings of fame and the music industry.

"One week after arriving in Los Angeles from Sydney, 'American Hustle' came to me in a dream," says Castle. "It sums up everything I was feeling at the time. America has a hustle to it like no other place I have been. Anything can happen here..."

That sentiment is captured tremendously on the track. Castle's voice is just a thing of beauty. Full of emotion, power and grace, she lays out the story of 'American Hustle' with sincere gravitas. The song rises and falls at her command, offering some of the most powerful pop music this writer has heard in quite some time. And readers will be pleased to know that the rest of her EP is equally as compelling.

The release of Chapter 1 is just the beginning for Castle's big 2019. She has planned two more EPs and a full-length entitled The Story of Christina Castle. She'll also be embarking on tours throughout the U.S. and Europe. In other words, get used to hearing her name quite a bit.
