It has been a year and a half since the Chromatics announced Dear Tommy, an album which music lovers should be screaming for in much the same way they did for Frank Ocean's "overdue" LPs.

But Dear Tommy is finally feeling imminent as more and more music trickles down the pipe. Just a few weeks after the release of the album's title track, the group has shared 'I Can Never Be Myself When You're Around,' a bumping track replete with punchy drum fills and typically beautiful synth flourishes courtesy of Johnny Jewel. If this song does not have you itching for the full-length record, I'm not sure what to do for you.

The song is accompanied by a gorgeous video, with layered black-and-white visuals that do their part to elevate the song even further. According to the video's description, Dear Tommy will be "available soon" through Italians Do It Better.
