It turns out good things do come to those who wait; at least in the case of Clare Maguire.

Following a five-year sabbatical, the Birmingham-born, London-based singer-songwriter released her second studio album Stranger Things Have Happened in May to rave reviews. Opting not to prepare individual videos for selected tracks on the album, Clare travelled to the US earlier this year to shoot the 'Stranger Things Have Happened' short film.

Directed by Bradley Alexander, the film adds a beautifully shot visual element to the heartbreakingly honest record in a way that one or two videos would not be able to accomplish. "It just feels right for this record to do that than do loads of different videos," Clare told us in an earlier interview. "To me, it feels like it will show the intent of what the album is about."

Following her mini 'Pinkies Up' UK tour and a support slot for the legendary Carole King at Barclaycard's British Summer Time festival in London, Clare has announced additional dates throughout September and October with tickets available via Dice.fm. Clare will also support Rodriguez at the London Palladium on July 22 and 23.
