Thankfully we return to Cloud Corner after the ridiculous exhibition that was The Brits has been concluded, with its paltry content leaving only the interruption of Adele’s acceptance speech as the sole talking point of the evening. No longer will we be pained by the seemingly transcendental adverts and previews, and instead we can turn our minds to much more exciting matters, with the release of Grimes' debut LP upcoming, along with many more festivals announcing their line ups. In the meanwhile we have the best new music submitted to us here at The 405 for your discerning ears!

'Spraypaint' by Heartships

Hailing from Leeds, Heartships recently recorded ‘Spraypaint’ with famed producer James Kenosha, and they have produced a track that is truly anthemic. I challenge you not to be moved by this emphatic record.

'What Happens in the Summer Lasts Forever' by Chateaux

Created by 18 year old Manchester resident George Flint, Chateaux is soon to be the live incarnation of Flint’s jovial lo-fi pop sound. Tropical and jaunty, Chateaux’s sound is endearing addictive to listen to.

'You' by Great Waves

Arguably the most exciting band currently being talked about in Manchester, Great Waves are a duo who have created a sound that is enigmatic and abstract, while remaining entirely emotionally intimate.
