We're nearly a month into 2012 and already festivals have begun to announce their line ups, The Maccabees and Porcelain Raft have both released cracking albums, and Grimes has revealed the dates to her eagerly anticipated European tour. Amongst this blur of music news and revelations, we here at Cloud Corner have unearthed yet another crop of fresh talent that is sure to blossom in 2012.

We've made a small change to Cloud Corner for this year, and we're no longer running a voting system. While we very much appreciate your feedback, (which you can still leave us in the comments section) we just felt that new music is better simply presented and promoted, rather than pitted against one another. With no further ado, I give you this week's Cloud Corner!
